One more day and hopefully the coveted finishers medal.
We started in 2nd place and I think we held it. We may have moved closer to the leaders. Unlikely we will overtake them, veterans who have won it. 10 sections today. Our favorite of the rally ran 2 times today: Bonavista. It is a tight technical section in town with 29 turns in 5k. 2 second windows tomorrow and we finish in st johns.
Started in 4th. We think we zeroed today. Windows tighten to 3 seconds tomorrow. gt40 back in operation. Leaders in our class wen t off. No injuries. Car in 3rd got turned around and went countercourse. We will see what results are tom.orrow.

Tough day today. We took some points. Tight twisty roads, heavy rains high CASTs. Hitting the max speed ceiling trying to make up time.
The GT40 crashed into a bridge. Noone iinjured but that’s 4 cars out.
We finished day 1. The speeds are brisk. The rain is changing them to condition 2, which are slower. 2 cars off today no injuries. One pothole tore the wheel off one car. Blown head gasket on the porsche. 2 cars moved out of our class. Top cast today was 101kph on wet twisting roads with 12second grace windows. Tomorrow 9 second windows. Eeek!
So far in the prologue, the car is handling well. Tomorrow we have 12 second windows, on either side of perfect zero. Tuesday it will be 9. By Friday 2.
